Kitt made the walk on Sunday the 4th of October, strapped to the wing of a biplane in a challenge he says he had always wanted to take on.
Up & away Malcolm Kitt said: "I have been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and would really like to raise some money to help this amazing charity that is now close to my heart. All donations will be greatly appreciated, I know I'm crazy for doing this, but it is also something I have always wanted to do!”
The Alzheimer's Society supports people affected by dementia and funds research into the condition. By Tuesday morning Kitt's JustGiving page had raised £1,715 from 53 donations, plus a further £361.25 in Gift Aid, with messages of support coming in from across the industry.
