Cooked lifts

A blaze at the warehouse of Glamorgan White Lining ltd in Splott, near Cardiff in the UK gutted the building and destroyed a large amount of equipment, including some aerial lifts.

Sixty-five firefighters were called to the scene but the building collapsed within 30 minutes of them arriving.

The two scissor lifts fared better than the road marking machines

The damage included 12 vehicles used for road marking, a large quantity of white flammable paint, 3,000 litres of fuel a Genie GS2668RT and a Skyjack SJ6826RT diesel scissor lift.

12 road marking vehicles were badly burnt

The scissors which belong to Nationwide are likely to be candidates for rebuilding. The road markers... perhaps not!
