Haulotte Middle East opens
Alexandre Saubot cut the ribbon this evening to formally open the new premises of its latest sales and service subsidiary, Haulotte Middle East FZE in the Dubai Airport Duty Free Zone.

The even was attended by more than 30 local distributors and major customers in the region. The new operation is managed by Arthur Danelian with an initial team of five.

Over 30 local dealers celebrated the opening of the new facility
The aim is to add further technicians to bring the initial team up to a total of 10. The operation will be responsible for all sales and service throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Saubot speaking at a pre opening press conference confirmed that the company will exceed 25 percent growth this year and could break the $billion, depending on the exchange rates between the Euro and the dollar.

He also claimed that the company will produce almost 25,000 units from its 50 model range in 2007, compared to 172 units from three models in 1995.
Given the revenues and production volumes Haulotte now believes that it is the market leader for non North American sales of aerial lifts.

The new workshops
The Middle East region currently represents less than two percent of Haulotte’s sales, Saubot said that he would be very happy if this reached 10 percent within five years, but that this will depend on the speed of market development in the region.
