Millennium expands fleet
London, UK based Millennium Crane Hire, has added a second Liebherr mobile crane to its fleet. The new LTM 1095-5.1 has joined the LTM 1055 model the company bought three years ago. The 100 tonne lift capacity machine is now the biggest crane in the growing Millennium fleet.

Millennium Crane Hire Limited adds a Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1
Based in West Hendon, to the north-west of London, Millennium's fleet is mainly made up of All-Terrain cranes, with a couple of truck-mounts. The company concentrates on a cachement area inside the M25 where one of its features - its relatively small size - is proving an important benefit for Millennium. The five-axle carrier features active rear-axle steering, all-wheel steering and crab walk for the best possible manoeuvrability and agility on site.
The six-section telescoping main boom has a length of 58 metres and features the rapid cycle Telematik telescoping system. The crane has been supplied with a 10.5m-19 metre double lattice swing-away extension with hydraulic offset which provides an infinitely variable adjustment of between 0 and 40 degrees.
In addition to the 15 tonnes counterweight, an extra counterweight of eight tonnes has been supplied, to give a total of 23 tonnes of ballast.
