Weldex has recently bought four Sennebogen cranes.

With a fast working cycle the 643R can be used in very confined work spaces – on construction site, in tunnelling, on tight inner city job sites or industrial premises.

Its hydraulically extendable 30 metre 4-section telescopic main boom features a folding type fly jib of 6.5 -13 metres. Weighing in at 36.5 tonnes the 643R is powered by a 135 kW Deutz engine, with the operator residing in the latest Maxi type operators cabin.

The Sennebogen 683HD has a lifting capacity of 80 tonnes and features the latest load sensing hydraulic system with 5-section telescopic boom and a folding type fly jib of 10 – 17 metres. Powered by a 200Kw Deutz engine the machine features an F2000 type cab.

"We originally purchased a Sennebogen machine some five years ago which we were delighted with," said Dougie McGilvray, managing director of Weldex. "Our latest investment in four new Sennebogen machines has added strength in depth to our fleet”

Weldex, based in Inverness, Scotland is the largest UK-based crawler crane hire company. Established in 1979 the international company operates from six locations offering a wide range of crane sizes from 5 -750 tonnes.
