GGR-Unic among fastest growers

GGR-Unic the master distributor for Unic spider cranes has made it into the Sunday Times 2207 listing of Britain’s Top 100 fastest growing private companies.

Only Just being 100th out of 100, however it is one of only two companies in the equipment sector to make it into the annual chart which measures annual percentage growth over three years. The other is the Specialist Hire Group which came in at 94.

GGR managed 59.14 percent, there was less than one percent spread between the last five companies. The company has seen sales climb from £1.9 million in 2003/4 to £7.9 million in 2006/7.

GGR is owned by Gill and Graeme Riley and was founded in 1996 with the winnings from Graeme Riley’s racing career which included winning the European Formula Ford championship.
