MBB takeover by Palifinger approved

Palfinger has obtained approval from the Austrian and German antitrust authorities for the 100 percent takeover of MBB Liftsystems AG. MBB is one of the leading suppliers of tail lifts and the deal is the largest acquisition in the history of the Palfinger Group. click for original story

The acquisition will mean a considerable expansion of Palginger's existing tail lift product division and opens up new markets. The Ratcliff tail lifts - which have been tailor-made for the UK - will not be affected by the acquisition whereas the Palgate tail lifts made for continental European markets will merge into MBB.
