The Moog 250 back at work

The accident occurred after the contractor misdirected E.S. Access operator John Whitfield to set up over a rail bridge rather than a nearby river bridge. After going through a lengthy legal process both Whitfield and ES Access were cleared.

Keith Hunwick managing director of E.S.Access said:
“Despite being built in August 2006 the Moog has had some updated 2007 features added during it’s rebuild which further enhance its abilities. Such as, additional manlifts on the platform.

These additions and its original specification of 3.5 metres overreach of the footpath whilst still achieving 25metres under reach and a two man basket with a 60 metre lowering cable for pier inspection give us an ability to serve the majority of requirements.”

"Roll on 2008!”
