Accident at KIA plant

A man died at the site of a new KIA motors production facility in West Point Georgia, yesterday after he was crushed by falling materials. A number of reports claim that the accident was caused by a crane lifting a piece of heavy material may have slipped and hit the man.

These reports have not been confirmed and may well have not basis in fact. The man who died was Ollie Tate, 47, he was rushed to the West Georgia Medical Centre and was pronounced dead within the hour.
