New FD for Cargotec

Cargotec, the parent company of Hiab, Kalmar and Mc Gregor has appointed Eeva Mäkelä, 35, as its chief financial officer, she takes over from deputy CEO Kari Heinistö who is to focus on a major corporate ‘change programme’.

Eeva Mäkelä

Mäkelä was previously senior vice president, investor relations and communications and a member of the executive board. She will retain these responsibilities in addition to taking over accounting, finance and risk management.

She will report directly to president and chief executive officer Mikael Mäkinen.
