The company unveiled three of its long promised Cobra models, the 19ft ATX-1933, the 32ft ATX-3247 and the 33ft heavy duty ATX-3368. The machines use AC direct electric four wheel drive with the omni-directional wheels.

The machines are easy to operate and extraordinarily smooth and manoeuvrable.
However they are also very specialised and expensive, special dealer net show prices for the first 100 units of each of the three models were: $26,681 for the 19ft, $37,511 for the 32ft and $80,773 for the larger 33ft.

An omni directional wheel


MEC
The MEC M40T looked like a well thought through boom lift, with its tight turning circle, short tailswing, compensating oscillating axle and deluxe control box.
The first orders have been placed by the company’s European distributor, with further orders placed at the show.

The MEC boom has up to five outlets on the boom, AC, 12V DC, Air, Water and hydraulic tools


MEC also unveiled a new battery powered version of its 3072 and 3772 4x4 rough terrain scissor lifts with outriggers. The company says that the new models are designed for work off slab close into buildings and where noise and fumes are frowned upon.

The Bil Jax PT10 (Power Tower) attracted a lot of attention


Reachmaster, a division of Worldlift industries, showed a 28 metre Falk Schmidt, Falcon along with two Hinowa light lifts, Hinowa, says that it will be introducing a new 22 metre model later in the year.

Platform Basket
Looking to test the US market Platform Basket of Italy had a stand to the rear of the show, where it displayed a 12 metre RQG12 spider lift. The company reports having made some good contacts at the show which might help it get started.

PLE has now adopted the blue livery for its trailer mounted scissor lift introduced by its UK distributor, Planet Platforms. It has also introduced self levelling electric screw type outrigger jacks and several other improvements.
