Skyjack up 25%

Linamar, the parent company of Skyjack, has released its initial statement with its full year 2007 results.

While the group as a whole posted a two percent increase in revenues, the Industrial division, which is largely Skyjack aerial lifts and more recently Carelift telescopic handlers, has boosted its revenues by almost 26 percent to around C$477 million ($482 million).

Linamar says that if the weakening of the US dollar vs the Canadian dollar is taken out of the equation, Skyjack sales would have increased by almost 30 percent.

Linamar as a whole saw revenues edge up, two percent to C$2.3 billion ($2.33 billion) largely due to Skyjack, while net earnings increased by 10 percent to C$ 109.3 million ($110 million).
