Another day another acquisition

UK rental company Vp, owner of UK Forks, (previously Vibroplant) has made its second acquisition this week with the purchase of Redding hire of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire for £2.9 million.

Redding has been established for over 17 years and is engaged in the hire and sale of trench shoring products and earth moving equipment to the construction and civil engineering sectors.

Redding will join Vp’s Groundforce division, expanding market coverage for that business.

Jeremy Pilkington, chairman of Vp said: “We are very pleased to acquire the Redding business which will further strengthen Groundforce’s geographical distribution and customer base.”
