Cramo-Rentakran expands

Russian rental company ZAO Cramo Rentakran jointly owned by Cramo of Finland and ZAO Rentakran or Russia has opened a new location in Ekaterinburg in central Russia.

Cramo Rentakran was established in August 2007 as a joint venture with operations initially focused in the Moscow region. The partners are now preparing to expand into other areas of Russia.

Both Cramo and Rentakran are positive on the Russian construction and rental market, boosted by stable economic growth, new industrial initiatives as well as the 20014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Jarmo Laasanen senior vice president of Cramo-Other Europe said: "Opening up in Ekaterinburg now follows our expansive plan for Russia. Our close relation with ZAO Rentakran, already well established in this very dynamic region, has given us a perfect platform for the start up both in terms of customer contacts and location of the new depot. Our new Ekaterinburg area manager has started and we have already delivered a number of hoists and aerial lifts to large projects in the area."

"Our next opening will thus be in Krasnodar, the capital city in the Sochi region", He adds.
