Hird goes for Jekko

Hull, UK based Peter Hird has bought six Jekko spider cranes for its mini crane rental fleet. It expects to add a further six units over the next 12 months.

The units have been ordered with the ‘Multi-Power’ option of DC/AC and Diesel power, and will be available with glass manipulators and hydraulic fly jibs.

The first Jekko cranes for Hird

Managing director Peter Hird said: “After great consideration and investigation into different spider lift products we choose Jekko for is quality, versatility and the back up that Jekko can now offers.”

“The new cranes have started to arrive and some are already booked out on long term contracts. We are looking forward to developing this line along side our pick and carry cranes we offer from Valla. We believe the two types will compliment each other very well.”
