CPA mobile crane meeting dates

The UK’s Construction Plant-hire Association has announced that it will hold its annual mobile crane interest group open meeting on September 23rd at the Nuthurst Grange Hotel, Hockley Heath, Warwickshire.

The agenda will cover the following subjects:

- Thorough Examination and Testing of Cranes and the revision of BS 7121 Part 4 (Lorry Loaders) update.

- Review of the CPA Best Practice Guide for Crane Hire and Contract Lifting.

- Update on the Greater London Authority Best Practice Guide (Olympic and high profile sites)

- Proposed revision of the Working Time Directive (WTD)

- Update on CPCS scheme (including the de-regulation of training)
