Having faith in your gutters

A builder, dubbed the Handy builder by our reader is working on a tiled roof of a multi storied building cleaning out the gutters. As if this was not bad enough he is using the gutter itself as his foot hold.

One assumes that this time he got away with it, however his odds of completing this work alive were distinctly low.

Although a closer look does show that he also has the benefit of a snow dog/guard which he has hooked his leg around.

German gutters are clearly well built and firmly attached but not at all deigned for this application.
