Lasky takes over at Accuride

Bill Lasky has been appointed chairman, as well as president and chief executive of Accuride Corporation.

He succeeds Terry Keating, who has resigned as chairman and director. Lasky became a director of Accuride in 2007 and joined the company around three months ago as interim president and chief executive, following the resignation of John Murphy.

Lasky is best known in lifting equipment circles as chairman, president and chief executive of JLG, prior to its acquisition by Oshkosh at the end of 2006.

Accuride produces commercial vehicle components in North America, such as wheels, wheel-end components, truck body and chassis parts, seating assemblies and other commercial vehicle components. Brand names include Bostrom, Gunite, Imperial, Fabco, Brillion, and Highway Original.
