The crane boom came down on a boom lift
The men’s injuries are not life threatening although one, who was working on the crane from a self propelled aerial boom lift, is more seriously injured than the other. He was performing maintenance on the crane when the boom collapsed.
The man was injured as he jumped out of the lift to escape the wreckage. He was reported to be able to walk with assistance but was airlifted to a local hospital. The crane, reportedly a “4600” owned by Lampson crane rental was being prepared for relocation at the time.
