Skyjack appoints Rexco for VR
Skyjack has appointed Rexco to distribute its VR range of telehandlers in Iowa, Nebraska and Western Illinois. Rexco, founded in 1964, is based in Des Moines Iowa, with branch locations in Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Iowa City in Iowa, Omaha, Nebraska and Burlington, Illinois.
The company also distributes Link Belt cranes, Manitex boom trucks, Elliot truck mounted work platforms and utility trucks, Liebherr and Bobcat earthmoving equipment, and Aichi aerial work platforms.
Rexco which both sells and rents most of the equipment if distributes, will carry the complete VR range, which Skyjack acquired from Volvo last year. Volvo picked up the line from Ingersoll Rand when it purchased its road machinery division.
Since moving production and rebranding the Ingersoll Rand VR product, Skyjack has been busy building the distributor network which is separate to that of its Carelift range of heavy duty telehandlers which it acquired in 2007.
