Youngman unveils new Boss

The Youngman Group, the UK alloy scaffold tower and ladder manufacturer is launching a new generation of its Boss aluminium scaffold tower system at the Executive Hire show next week.

The most significant difference between the original Boss tower and its replacement is the use of welded tube to tube construction, in place of the formers welded T- joins.

Youngman's Boss Evolution

The product will be names the Boss Evolution, reflecting that it is an improvement or enhancement to the existing system, rather than a totally different product and reflects the company’s policy of continuous product improvement.

Welding thin wall aluminium tube to tube efficiently without burn through, has required a major investment in state-of-the-art laser-cutting and robotic welding technology. The benefit is a frame that is more rigid, lighter more efficient to produce and that will last longer in the rental environment.

The Evolution frames are fully compatible with all existing components in the Boss system – and are approved to EN 1004.
