Locatelli to launch new 50 tonne RT

Italian crane maker, Locatelli, will launch a new 50 tonne Gril 8500TL Rough Terrain crane at Intermat in late April. The company has worked hard to make the new RT as compact as possible, its overall dimensions are: 10.89 metres long, 2.54 metres wide and just under 3.5 metres high.

The Locatelli Grill 8500TL

The new crane features a 37.2 metre full power telescopic main boom and five tonnes of counterweight. Other features including a tilting cab and a variable outrigger base that is fully integrated with the cranes control and monitoring systems. The electronic systems can also be specified with integrated GPS and telematics.

The cranes is equipped with 16.00R25 earthmover type tyres as standard and can travel at speeds of up to 37 kph.
