Crawler crane drops boom in Orlando

A 200 ton crawler crane dropped its boom on the building it was working on in Orlando, Florida yesterday after a cable is reported to have snapped while the crane was lifting a load. Please register to see all images

The base crane appears undamaged

The building is the new Orlando Events Center, off Hughey Avenue in downtown Orlando.

No one was injured in the accident.
