Australian Telehandler Meeting

The Elevating Work Platform Association (EWPA) of Australia has called a general open meeting of its Telehandler committee to action a number of regulatory and training issues on Tuesday June 16th in Sydney.

Date: Tuesday 16th June 2009
Time: 11am – 2pm (Including Lunch)
Venue: Crowne Plaza Parramatta
30 Phillip Street, Parramatta

The meeting is open to all interested members, plus any non-members, who may
benefit from this meeting.

It is two years or more since the EWPA originally established the Telescopic Handler Committee to establish a dedicated training scheme and help develop sensible regulation.

The proposed agenda includes:
- Identification of key issues:
* Regulations
* Operator training
* Attachments
* OH&S Awareness
- Actions required and time scales
- The formation of a committee

Members can still propose additional subjects for inclusion in the agenda.
