A reader in Italy driving to work earlier this month could not believe his eyes, as he passed two men working on overhead power lines by the side of the road. At Bomporto, about 15 km from Modena, Italy.

One of the men was up a ladder which he had simply rested against the wires alongside a busy road. Assuming he avoided an electric shock there was still a chance that the ladder would come down across the road no question – Death Wish 68.
