New UK access company

Keith Kendall the former owner of UK aerial lift rental company Access Rentals, has established a new company, Direct Access Hire Ltd.

The move follows Access Rentals filing for administration in mid Mayand its subsequent purchase by Haulotte earlier this month.

Kendall has teamed up with a number of colleagues from Access Rentals with the plan to open two or three initial locations. A request for further information on Kendall's business plans last week has so far not been answered.

We do not really have enough hard facts/details to make any meaningful comment at this stage. All we can say is that an intense rivalry appears to be building between Haulotte and Kendall following rival attempts to take Access Rentals out of administration.

Hopefully both parties will now focus on running and building the best possible business they can, rather than on each other.
