Lavendon in line with expectations

The Lavendon Group, the international powered access rental company, and owners Nationwide Platforms, Panther, Gardemann, DK and Rapid. The world’s largest aerial lift rental specialist, has reported revenues to the end of May five percent lower than for the same period last year, but in line with its expectations.

Eliminating currency factors, revenues declined 13 percent. In the UK, still the company’s largest market, revenues were down 17 percent.

The company says that it has made good progress in reducing its cost base and is trading in line with its earlier expectations.
