Auction raises almost £7,000

A charity auction at Vertikal Days, which included a pink Eazzilift scissor lift, raised almost £7,000 for charity.

The auction in full swing

The original auction included a Pink Eazzilift mini donated by R2 Access and Eazzi Lift, along with two crane models from Liebherr and two PPE kits from Kingfisher Access.

The two generous winners - Dave Williams of Platform Hire and Tony Crawford of Mr Plant Hire

Martin Davies of MEC Europe, Thermoil and EPW, did an outstanding job as auctioneer selling one of the models was three times to raise £475.

One of the PPE/harness kits raised £210 with Higher Concept Software, clearly looking to get more hands on with the equipment.

Finally it came down to the Pink scissor with Dave Williams of Platform Hire making the winning bid at £2,800. Then shortly after the machine was knocked down Tony Crawford of Mr Plant got approval to bit £3,000. A quick conference with R2 and Eazzi obtained an agreement to sell a second unit in aid of the charity.
