Crane and Aerial lift fatality

A man was crushed between a crane and an aerial work platform yesterday at a United Rentals yard in Pleasant Valley, near Fairmont, West Virgina.

According to police reports George Green, 48, was in the platform of a boom lift reversing it out of the workshops. when he collided with a crane parked in the yard, pinning him between the platform and the crane.

Police say that Green died at the scene, United Rentals has declined to comment on the incident.
