Crane demolishes bridge

A raised loader crane demolished a footbridge in Salsburgh, Lanarkshire, Scotland yesterday, fortunately no one was injured.

The loader crane had been left partially extended and caught the bridge as the truck passed under it, completely demolishing it. A woman was climbing the steps of the bridge to cross the bridge, when the crane smashed through the structure, the steps escaped damage.
