20th Ascendant A17 for Facelift

Facelift Access Hire has taken delivery of its 20th, 17 metre truck mounted work platform from British based manufacturer Ascendant Access.

The A17 telescopic boom lift is mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis and includes a number of unusual features that were incorporated following discussions with rental companies such as Facelift, including permanent one sided jacking allowing the machine to achieve full unrestricted outreach of 12.2m with a capacity of 230kgs, whilst maintaining a working footprint width of just 3.2 metres.

A Facelift Ascendant A17 truck mount

The vehicle has built in storage lockers with a carrying capacity of 150kgs, unusual for this type of lift, allowing the user to legally carry tools and equipment to the job without the need for a second vehicle.

Facelift says that the machines greatest feature is its simplicity, being easy to operate and maintain, with full hydraulic controls and no need for outreach limiters or complex electronics.
