Self Propelled electrocution

A man was electrocuted in Deerfield Beach, Florida yesterday as he was pressure washing from a self propelled boom lift.

The man, Alex Ferradas, 38, is reportedly the owner of TPEC a painting and pressure washing contractor. He was pressure washing a three storey structure at Hardrives, an asphalt contractor, in preparation for repainting when his 60 ft articulated boom lift came into contact with a power line.

The lift was brought down in order after the electricity was cut

His co-worker quickly called the emergency service, but he died almost immediately. Ferradas was married with two young children.
