Gatwick Plant takes Hiab at SED

Gatwick Plant has taken delivery of a Hiab 700-5 J165 knuckle boom, taking the firm’s Hiab fleet to 7 machines. A further three units will be delivered later in the year. Director of Gatwick Group, Bob Toon received the 700-5 J165 today at SED from Hiab regional sales director Northern Europe, Hakan Danielsson. The company has also placed an order for a Hiab 600-7 unit, capable of lifting 740 kilograms at 27 metres, and a Hiab 800-7, capable of lifting 1380 kilograms at 27 metres. Both units will be supplied with fly-jibs two tonne winches. A smaller seven tonne/metre machine will complete the line-up.
