The company has also introduced a self propelled version of its 24ft trailer mounted scissor lift dubbed the XT24SD. The new model builds on the designs that it purchased/licensed from PLE in the USA combining a towable lift that is light enough to go behind most cars, with one that can be driven from the platform.

Other new products that will be launched this week include a new 19ft scissor lift which will replace both the highly popular UpRight MX19 and the Snorkel SL19 and a replacement for the UpRight X32 which has remained in the company’s range almost unchanged since the mid 1990’s and a brand new 46ft straight boom, which will be the first in a new series of boom lifts.

Word is that it will also reintroduce the SL20 although a this stage it is not clear if this will be the later model or the original. The original SL20 was a traditional very simple 20ft/6m sigma lift that competed in the scissor lift sector. It was later redesigned with a much heavier and complex lift mechanism but better performance characteristics.

Finally the company has also announced that it has upgraded its
Speed Level range to offer improved performance better gradeability, lower weight and improved lift capacity. The new versions will be known as the Speed Level Plus.

More information and pictures will be posted as the conference progresses.
