Direct Access Auction

33 scissor and boom lifts from the recently formed Direct Access Hire of the UK, are being auctioned online by GWA auctioneers without reserve.

The units all of which are Haulotte have been entered in the auction by a major finance company along with a Mercedes delivery truck.

One of the units going under the hammer

Bradford, Yorkshire, based Direct Access Hire is the company that was set up by Adrian Chapman and Keith Kendall following the failure of Access Rentals earlier this year and its subsequent take over by Haulotte. That company is now being merged with Haulotte owned UK Rentals.

We understand that some of the leases on units within the Access Rentals fleet were taken on by Direct Access and assume that these are some of those units. Most bids are currently range from £150 to around £500 although this will of course rise as bidding gets fully underway..
