Ruthmann unveils T540

German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann has launched its 54 metre T540 truck mounted lift at the Esprit arena in Dusseldorf, Germany today.

The T540 is the second model in the company’s ‘height performance’ range, following the introduction of the T460 at Intermat earlier this year. The range will be completed with the unveiling of Ruthmann's T7XX truck mount at Bauma 2013.

Mounted on a three-axle 26 tonne chassis the T540 has a four section main boom and a 16 metre top boom plus a 180 degree articulating jib. With a reduced platform capacity of 100kg the machine can achieve an outreach of 40 metres. Maximum platform capacity is 600kg. The T540 has an overall length of 11.9 metres and a height of 3.9 metres and is also available on a 4x4 chassis.

The company said: “The special highlight of this product is its very long and telescopic upper boom and articulating jib. Compared to similar models on the market, operators now have an extra three metres of upper boom length at their disposal which opens up an entirely new working area dimensions at the jobsite.”
