Holland Lift goes with AJ

Holland Lift has appointed AJ Access Platforms as its distributor for the UK and Ireland with immediate effect.

AJ Access will sell and market Holland Lift scissor lifts, with a particular focus on models between 15 and 34 metres. It will also provide product support to existing Holland Lift owners in the region. Since the closure of its previous distributor Russon Access at the end of last year, Holland Lift has been supporting its products from its manufacturing base in Hoorn, the Netherlands.

At the same time it has been working to increase production, in order to reduce lead times and now claims to be close to moving below six months with current orders being scheduled for February production.
In addition a number of new products and model versions are in the pipeline for launch early next year.

AJ Access chief executive Tony Mort said: “It is a fantastic fit for us to be able to supply this very high quality product in to the UK and Ireland market and compliments other access equipment we currently supply perfectly. It also enables us to look after the pre-owned market for Holland Lift products and take part exchanges in, which is a natural part of our business of course”

Vertikal Comment

This is a good move on the part of Holland Lift, in that AJ Access has a first class reputation, financial security and a decent product support capability. The company has been buying, selling and distributing new and used aerial lifts since 1990 and no one has more industry knowledge and contacts than AJ owner Tony Mort.

While Holland Lift has been quiet in terms of announcements etc… a good deal has been happening since Pro-Delta took over the business at the start of the year and we can expect a number of further developments in the weeks and months ahead.

Nice move Tony.

It makes so much sense for you.

If you can now sort the £pound/Euro exchange rate then I think we've cracked it.

Well done!
