Manlift signs training deal with MEFMA
UAE based rental company Manlift has signed a strategic alliance with the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) to supply IPAF and PASMA training to its members.
Manlift says that it will work closely with MEFMA and its members to introduce IPAF and PASMA certification and further improve the standards of users and operators in the region.
As part of this new initiative Manlift, is planning to add significantly to the number of low level aerial work platforms in its fleet and will increase the number of IPAF and PASMA authorised training instructors on its staff. It will also offer exclusive ‘training days’ to MEFMA members to increase awareness of all things related to working safe at height.
Sinead Bridgett, director MEFMA said: “we see this as a valuable service offering to our members and the wider facilities management community as Manlift offers best in class training, support and user certification for all operators who pass the working at height courses”.

Manlift’s managing director, Tom Cunningham added: "Manlift is delighted to be in partnership with MEFMA. We admire the MEFMA organisation for its commitment to professionalism, leadership, teamwork, operational excellence, and safety in the workplace. We look forward to doing great things together."
Robert Cavaleri, Manlift group operations and technical manager said: “this is an excellent partnership for all involved especially as we see an ever increasing requirement from our customers that clients are demanding IPAF and PASMA training for all operators working at height”.
Manlift, which runs a fleet of more than 1,500 platforms in the region, believes that the Middle East regulations for working at height will fast approach those seen in Europe and that IPAF certification and powered access licenses will eventually become mandatory for all those working on aerial work platforms in the region.
