Manitou 160ATJ for Instant

Australian rental company Instant Access has taken delivery of eight new 46ft Manitou 160ATJ+ articulated boom lifts for work on major infrastructure projects in Sydney, including tunnel work.

The 160ATJ+ which features a dual sigma type rise, telescopic boom and articulating jib, offers an unusually high platform capacity at 400kg/three people.

Chief executive Stephen Fraser said: “As a specialist access solutions provider, a key part of our growth strategy is to add complimentary products to our elevating work platform range and we see this as a great opportunity to partner with Manitou on this key infrastructure project.”

Instant Access provides a full range of access equipment including aluminium scaffolding, mobile towers, elevated working platform, swing stage suspended platforms and other specialised access solutions. It operates eight branches in three Australian states, plus two branches in New Zealand.
