Manitex for Covey
US heavy lifting and haulage company Covey Crane Service has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Manitex TC45142C boom truck.
The TC45142C features a 43.2 metre main boom plus a 9.2 to 16.7 metre extension. The crane was delivered by US Manitex dealer Empire Crane Company, and its first job was to replace the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the Penfield Library in New York.

President Raymond Ziegler said: “We chose to purchase a Manitex boom truck again, because of our great experience with the 40124SHL and Empire Crane. The twin steer, tandem axles, radio remote outrigger controls, and the fact that it’s a Manitex, make it stand out to me.”

Based in Spencerport, New York, Covey Crane Service runs a fleet of boom trucks and All Terrain cranes, as well as flatbed trailers.

What a beautiful crane. But to me it's just too long for everyday taxi crane work. But again, a beautiful crane.
