Haulotte ramps up in Japan
Haulotte has established a wholly owned sales and service subsidiary in Japan - Haulotte Japan.
The company sold its first machines in Japan in 2010 and opened a sales office in March 2015, but is now making a greater, longer term commitment. Based in Osaka, the subsidiary will carry a larger inventory of spare parts, and will build a stronger, more responsive service and repair operation. The company will add to its local staff but continue to work with local partners. An experience engineer from company headquarters in France will also be based there.
Over the past two years the company has gradually increased the product range that it offers, and now includes mast booms, electric scissor lifts and articulated boom lifts. And in fact claims to be the market leader for articulated booms sales.
The opening of the new facility was celebrated with the company’s rental partner Nishio Rent All, president Masashi Nishio said: “Nishio looks forward to continuing and building on the great relationship we have enjoyed with Haulotte as its rental partner since 2015. We foresee that having an expert French engineer stationed full-time at Haulotte’s office will help us respond swiftly and efficiently to customer enquiries.”

First machines Haulotte sold direct into japan were well before 2010. This I can assure you.
Looking forward to the future!
