Sinoboom adds regional manager for France
The European division of Chinese aerial lift manufacturer Sinoboom has appointed Thomas Méheust as regional manager for France.
For the past two years Méheust has worked as an independent sales and marketing support consultant within his own, UK-based company Demat, during which time he has mostly worked with Belgian aerial lift sales and replacement parts business Vertimac. Prior to that he worked with Genie for two years as sales director for the Benelux region, Israel and used equipment.

He began his career in 1998 with a plumbing and swimming pool contractor, leaving to set up his own small contracting business, H2O in 2002. He moved into the access market when he joined alloy tower, low level access and ladder manufacturer Youngman in 2004 as export business development manager for Northern Europe. He left the company in 2015 to join French aerial lift manufacturer ATN, starting as export sales manager, becoming sales director the following year. He left the company in 2018 when it ran into financial difficulties and entered administration. After a short spell with GGR Unic Cranes he joined Genie, a role he held until the move to Vertimac.
Sinoboom Europe chief executive Tim Whiteman said: “Thomas’s appointment shows Sinoboom’s commitment to provide our customers in France with a full, professional service led by an industry professional.”
Erik Geene vice president of sales & international development, added: “We are delighted that we could continue our strategy of recruiting experienced industry personnel to meet the growing demand for Sinoboom products in France.”
Méheust said: “I have seen the steady growth of Sinoboom’s Europe operations and am delighted to join the team to deliver these high-quality products in France."
