Dodgy cribbing
Spotted by a reader... some ultra-cribbing that raises a few questions.
The picture says it all, a combination of decent outrigger mats, with concrete counterweight slabs or lintels, more mats and finally composite wood cribbing with a total height of around two to two and half metres and not all stacked over the centre. Possibly worse is what appears to be the front outriggers short rigged and set up right on the edge of the excavation.

We have no idea where this occurred, when, or what lifts were being carried out. It certainly warrants a place in our Death Wish series.
