400 tonne Tadano for Florida

Barcelona Equipment of Clearwater, Florida has taken delivery of a new 400 tonne Tadano ATF 400G-6 All Terrain crane. The first Tadano in its fleet.

Representatives from Barcelona Equipment and Tadano Cranes were at the port in Brunswick, Georgia to meet the ATF 400G-6 from the boat, it was then driven down to Florida and quickly prepared for its first job. Upon delivery, a customer requested use of the crane and within days of the crane’s arrival to the Barcelona yard it was sent to its first job – a 78 tonne lift at Hammer Haag Steel.

Bob Steiner of Barcelona said: “Jack Swan of dealer Exact Crane & Equipment referred us to the Tadano product line because we were interested in adding a larger All Terrain crane to our fleet. My son Justin Steiner, Jack Swan and myself visited the Tadano office in Houston to get a better look at the ATF 400G-6. We met with general manager Ron Dogotch, and he took the time to explain the advantages of the crane. We were also able to see the service team in action, fielding customer phone calls and working together to find a solution to get the cranes up and running. We were quite impressed with the camaraderie within the Tadano service department.”
