Onward at Upward

Upward Powered Access is continuing its fleet expansion plans with the addition of more Niftylift booms and Skyjack Scissor lifts for its recently opened Slough-West London depot.

The latest deliveries from Niftylift include 63ft HR21 hybrid booms along with the new 43ft HR15N and 50ft HR17N narrow aisles boom lifts. The Skyjack scissor lifts include a variety of units from the company’s slab electric range. A further order for more Niftylift booms and a large number of Skyjack scissor lifts is pending for delivery later in the year.

Managing director Paul Johnson said: "After deliberating for some time about opening another Upward location I have been more than pleased with the new depot’s performance, this has been mainly due to the hard work and commitment of Andy Bradbury. I did not intend to expand the fleet so quickly, however demand for our services has made this possible, we have also had to increase our delivery vehicles with the addition of another 18 tonne DAF truck.”
