Tree trimmer electrocuted

A man was electrocuted on Friday while trimming trees from a trailer lift in Cocoa, due east of Orlando Florida.

The man was using a Genie TZ50 at the Cypress Strand mobile home park when he inadvertently touched an overhead power line with this chainsaw. The emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after the incident was reported, followed by linesmen from Florida Power and Light who cut power to the lines before any rescue took place.

We must wonder why the trimmer did not have the customer call the utility to turn off power while he worked in that area. We must wonder if the lift was rented and the work done by a beginner. All kinds of questions can be drummed up for this.
