MAS adds Genies

UK based rental company Media Access Solutions (MAS) has taken delivery of 12 new Genie booms and scissor lifts.

The order includes five 45ft Z-45/25J bi-energy boom lifts, two 40ft GS-4069 electric scissor lifts, plus three 53ft GS-5390 and two 43ft GS-4390 Rough Terrain scissor lifts. All of the machines will be used on a new long term US TV production set in London.

Managing director Tim Kendall Bastock said: “I’d like to thank Genie and in particular Keith John for the deal structured in getting this order over the line in the time frame we needed, due to facilitating a big media order long term at such short notice. Our team have been very impressed with the quality of these machines, especially the GS-5390s. Our US clients specifically asked for Genie machines.”

Based in Birmingham, with locations close to major film and TV studios in the UK, Media Access Solutions specifically targets work at height equipment on television and film productions. The company runs a fleet of 255 machines, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, spider lifts, truck mounted platforms and telehandlers.
