Crane operator struck by lightening
A woman operating a crane at the Port of Brisbane in Australia, was struck by lightning during a violent thunderstorm yesterday.
She apparently showed no signs of physical injury but was taken to hospital where she was later reported to be in a stable condition.

A few questions - Type of Crane, how much warning, was there forecast for lightning in the area?
What are the working-in-wind speeds for the port crane in question (lightning coming from a storm, doubt it wasn't windy), what are the procedures in place regarding the checking of weather - which would affect ships as well as cranes when it causes choppy waters, so its not like port management dont have an interest already.
