Fatal fall in UK
A woman, 27, has died after falling from a machine at the British Steelworks in Scunthorpe, UK on Saturday July 16th.
Reports claim that the woman fell from a crane, which we assume to mean a boom lift. She was declared dead at the scene.
A British Steel spokesman said: “We are sad to confirm one of our colleagues tragically died at work on Saturday. Their family has been informed and our thoughts are with them and our colleague’s friends. We are helping the police and the Health & Safety Executive with their investigation.”
HSE principal inspector Jane Fox added: "Our thoughts are with the family of the person who died. We are determined to understand the full facts of what happened. Doing so may take time, but we will remain in close contact with the family."

Hopefully it won't take 9 years to find out what happened. Her family would rather have answers than platitudes i suspect.
