Australian Crane and Machinery (ACM) has appointed Vaibhav Kale to head up the company’s export and international sales.

Managing director David Potter said: “Having exported several hundred used cranes over the past few years, it became clear that we needed to create this new position within ACM with an experienced veteran. Vaibhav will not only develop and increase our capacity, but will also ensure that the commercial aspects associated with exporting, such as letters of credit and bills of lading are handled in accordance with the company’s guidelines.”

Kale will also be charged with promoting the new equipment which ACM manufactures in joint relationships in Korea and China, including the Panda articulated crane built in partnership with XCMG.

ACM, which sells Kobelco cranes along with Multitel and Teupen access equipment, says that it is planning a major shipment of used cranes to the Indian sub continent in September and is sourcing appropriate used equipment now.
